Relations with Vietnam
On July 6, 2021, IBREI welcomed Mr. Ngo Xuan Ty, Head of the Trade Office of the Embassy of Vietnam in Brazil, at its headquarters. On the agenda is the signing of an MOU between IBREI and the Embassy to develop a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening business relations between the two countries.

Launch of CEMB
On July 20, 2021, the President of IBREI, Maurício Prazak, participated in the launch of the Convergência Empresarial de Mulheres do Mercosul. The Convergence is composed of women entrepreneurs from the four countries of the Mercosur bloc, representatives of business and commercial chambers, federations, rural entities, and associations of businesswomen. It is an institution focused on developing regional strategy proposals for the economic empowerment of companies and women


Meeting with Quebec
On July 2, 2021, IBREI met with the Université du Québec and the Tribunal Administrativo do Trabalho de Quebec to discuss the organization of events and initiatives related to international conciliation, mediation, and arbitration. The agenda already includes plans for a major international event in 2022 involving France, Canada, and Brazil. More news will be posted soon.


Solutions for SDGs Awards
As organizer of the IBREI BRICS Solutions for SDGs Awards, the Institute now moves to the next stage of the process: the nomination of the jury panel that will evaluate the projects submitted by the five countries. The projects were submitted in seven categories, and the jurors will have until July 30 to evaluate them. More information will be posted soon.


Warm Up Chile mission
On July 21, 2021, the “Warm Up” event took place for the Brazil-Chile Virtual Mission, which is being organized jointly by ABCasa, OMECH, CCBC, and IBREI. The business round will take place in August and will bring together Chilean and Brazilian companies for virtual negotiations in the home, decor, party, and floral sectors. Fambras Meeting
IBREI is beginning the signing of a partnership agreement with the Federação das Associações Muçulmanas do Brasil (FAMBRAS) and FAMBRAS HALAL (Halal certifier for Brazil). The agenda includes actions for instruction and training so that Brazilian companies can operate in the Arab market.
