IBREI is a signatory to the UN Global Compact and supports its 10 principles
The 10 principles:
The Global Compact advocates ten universal Principles, derived from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Labor Organization Declaration on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work, the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development and the United Nations Convention Against Corruption.
Exactly two years ago, on September 25, 2015, the world began to discover new parameters for a more sustainable and resilient future, based on an action plan for people, the planet and prosperity: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development . The result of long consultations and debates between governments, academia, civil society and the private sector, it was launched during the United Nations Summit on Sustainable Development and lists the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with 169 targets that encompass environmental spheres. , social and economic in an integrated and indivisible way. Since then, the UN Global Compact has been engaging the private sector in support of the Global Goals in almost 170 countries, establishing itself as the interlocutor initiative between the SDGs and companies. In Brazil, the Global Compact Brazil Network promotes several actions to boost corporate participation in building a more sustainable and fair world by 2030
For this reason, IBREI will be one of the regional protagonists in disseminating the path to implementing the Global Goals to the private sector.
For us, Compliance is not limited to compliance with rules, but rather, the transition of consciousness in search of the new unknown, that is, new parameters for a more sustainable and resilient future, based on an action plan for people, the planet and prosperity
