On December 15, 2020, the China Trade Center Workshop took place, bringing together Chinese suppliers and importers from Brazil and four other Latin American countries. IBREI was one of the official supporters of the event. The Institute’s President, Maurício Prazak, was honored to be invited to participate in the opening of the event alongside other Brazilian and Chinese authorities. Between April 12 and 16, IBREI and ABCasa held an International Business Roundtable that connected companies from six countries in the home, décor, gifts, housewares, party supplies, flowers, and textile sectors. The meetings were conducted 100% online through the institute’s new platform, WorldG8. On the platform, entrepreneurs were able to connect in one-on-one B2B meetings to present their companies and products, as well as discuss business proposals.
