IBREI participates in a CAMBRAPER event
On March 11, IBREI took part in an important meeting focused on strengthening economic relations between Brazil and Peru and presenting investment opportunities in the Andean country. The institute was represented by its President, Maurício Prazak; board members Lilian Schiavo, Sandro Ari Pinto, and David Marin; Director Giovanna Lopes; and associate Felipe Maluly. The Counselor and Emeritus Associate of the Brazilian Institute for the Development of International Business Relations (IBREI), Lilian Schiavo, who also serves as Vice President of the Brazil–Peru Chamber of Commerce (CAMBRAPER), participated in the International Economic Forum of Latin America and the Caribbean, organized by CAF – Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, held in Panama City, further strengthening her role in one of the most relevant environments


Meeting with the Ambassador of Bolivia
Today, at IBREI headquarters, we welcomed the Ambassador of the Plurinational State of Bolivia to Brazil, Wilfredo Rojo, and the Consul General of the country in São Paulo, Luís Bravo. Congratulations to our Ambassador Franchesco Lopez for organizing this productive meeting (which lasted more than two hours and opened many important doors for the beginning of the institute’s activities in the country).


ALESP Meeting
On July 29, 2020, IBREI held an important meeting with the International Relations Commission of the Legislative Assembly of the State of São Paulo. In a productive meeting, the Institute’s directors were received by Deputy Heni Ozi Cukier, the current President of the Commission, where significant synergies were identified and joint action strategies were outlined to enhance international business opportunities in the state. New International Representation – Bolivia
IBREI inaugurated its 21st International Representation. The representation of Bolivia will be led by associate Franchesco Lopez, who has been appointed as the Institutional Ambassador for the country. Bolivia is the second-largest producer of natural gas in Latin America and has a long history of collaboration in the Brazilian energy sector. The country has also been actively working to implement specific reforms aimed at facilitating private investment in the telecommunicat
