IBREI participates in a CAMBRAPER event

On March 11, IBREI took part in an important meeting focused on strengthening economic relations between Brazil and Peru and presenting investment opportunities in the Andean country.

The institute was represented by its President, Maurício Prazak; board members Lilian Schiavo, Sandro Ari Pinto, and David Marin; Director Giovanna Lopes; and associate Felipe Maluly.

The event was organized by the Brazil–Peru Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Embassy of Peru in Brazil and PROMPERÚ, bringing together government authorities, institutional representatives, and business leaders interested in strengthening bilateral cooperation.

The event was led by Lilian Schiavo, IBREI board member and Vice President of the Chamber, to whom the institute extends special recognition for her work in articulating and coordinating the meeting.

IBREI also congratulates the Chamber’s President, Rafael Torres Morales, for his commitment to strengthening business relations between the two countries.

Among the authorities present were the Ambassador of Peru to Brazil, Rómulo Accurio, the Consul General of Peru, Luis Armando, as well as the Director of PROMPERÚ Brazil and other institutional representatives. Samo Tosatti and Angela Gandra also delivered presentations at the meeting.

The event also featured the presence of the President of ProInversión and the Minister of Economy of Peru, who presented the country’s portfolio of strategic projects.

ProInversión is the government agency responsible for promoting and structuring private investments in Peru, leading initiatives in public-private partnerships and concessions that currently total more than US$ 70 billion in investment opportunities, covering sectors such as logistics, infrastructure, energy, transportation, healthcare, and agribusiness.

During the meeting, the main investment opportunities in Peru were presented, along with prospects for institutional and business cooperation between the two countries, with emphasis on projects in infrastructure, logistics, and regional economic integration.

IBREI’s participation reinforces the institute’s commitment to promoting international dialogue, expanding business opportunities, and strengthening business connections between Brazil and other strategic markets in Latin America.
