

ALESP Meeting
On July 29, 2020, IBREI held an important meeting with the International Relations Commission of the Legislative Assembly of the State of São Paulo. In a productive meeting, the Institute’s directors were received by Deputy Heni Ozi Cukier, the current President of the Commission, where significant synergies were identified and joint action strategies were outlined to enhance international business opportunities in the state. New International Representation – Bolivia
IBREI inaugurated its 21st International Representation. The representation of Bolivia will be led by associate Franchesco Lopez, who has been appointed as the Institutional Ambassador for the country. Bolivia is the second-largest producer of natural gas in Latin America and has a long history of collaboration in the Brazilian energy sector. On August 6, 2020, the event "North Korea: Myths vs. Reality" took place, shedding light on a country so unknown to the international business community. Meeting Between Bolivia and Minas Gerais
On August 13, 2020, IBREI participated in an alignment meeting between the Governments of Bolivia and Minas Gerais. The aim of the meeting was to identify synergies and business opportunities to be developed between the two governments in order to create a joint action agenda. Humanitarian Aid to Lebanon
With the aim of assisting the victims of the tragic explosion that occurred on August 4, 2020, in Lebanon, MACOM, with the support of IBREI and the Lebanese-Brazilian Medical Association, organized a solidarity action to donate post-surgical materials. A total of 340 compression garments were donated for the treatment and recovery of burn victims and those with injuries.
