From October 20 to 28, the BRICS Business Forum took place, one of the most important events organized by the BRICS Business Council , of which IBREI is an official member. The BRICS Business Forum traditionally takes place every year before the BRICS Summit (scheduled for November 11, 2020). Meeting with the Consulate of Egypt
At the meeting held on November 11, 2020, the Consul of Egypt, Noha Syam, together with the President of IBREI, Maurício Prazak, and the International Vice President of IBREI, Arthur Martinho, reviewed the details of the organization of several events that are already on the agenda. IBREI in Slovenia
In November 2020, while the world was marked by lockdowns due to the pandemic, IBREI continued to grow and opened a new international representation, now in Slovenia. On November 17, the BRICS Summit took place — the annual meeting of the leaders of the BRICS countries (a bloc that brings together Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa). Lunch with the Consul General of Paraguay
On November 18, 2020, IBREI met with the Consul General of Paraguay, Ambassador Luiz Fernando Ávalos, to discuss joint actions between the institutions and the promotion of trade and business relations between the countries. Representing IBREI at the meeting were its President, Mauricio Prazak, and its Institutional Ambassador to Paraguay, Fábio Frederico. Meeting with the Ambassador of Paraguay in Brazil
On November 24, 2020, IBREI participated in a meeting with the Ambassador of Paraguay to Brazil, Juan Angel Delgadillo. The meeting included companies affiliated with Sindiatacadistas. The focus of the meeting was to present business opportunities in the country, discuss issues related to treaties under negotiation, and address questions from entrepreneurs.


ABCasa – IBREI Roundtable
On November 30, the 2nd edition of the International Business Round ABCasa / IBREI began, connecting buying and selling companies in the Home, Decoration, Household Goods, Party, Flowers, and Textile sectors. Throughout the week, Brazilian companies affiliated with ABCasa met with international buyers and had opportunities to showcase their products and open new markets. SIMDE – IBREI Meeting
On November 30, IBREI and SIMDE met to discuss international business opportunities for companies in the Security and Defense sector. In October, the institutions signed a cooperation agreement (see here the ceremony celebrating the Agreement) aimed at joining efforts to develop the sector in Brazil.
