Considering all the recent technological developments of the Institute, an IT Center was established. On December 7, the group met to discuss digital matters and to continue the implementation of the data protection compliance program (LGPD) for IBREI and its partners. Advancing with India
In December, IBREI held several meetings with the Embassy and the Consulate General of India to discuss the details of structuring major initiatives aimed at strengthening the markets of both countries. During the week of December 7, the 1st International Virtual Fair on Exports, Logistics and Investments 2020 “Return to Growth” took place. China-Brazil Workshop
On December 15, 2020, the China Trade Center Workshop took place, bringing together Chinese suppliers and importers from Brazil and four other Latin American countries. IBREI was one of the official supporters of the event. The Institute’s President, Maurício Prazak, was honored to be invited to participate in the opening of the event alongside other Brazilian and Chinese authorities. New ABCasa Projects
Continuing the work developed in 2020, IBREI and Brazil Global are creating a major action plan to facilitate international market access for ABCasa members. The initiatives include the PIBS training course, a full annual schedule of international business roundtables (both in-person and virtual), and a new showroom to boost the digital activities of participating companies. IBREI Strategic Planning – 2021
On February 20, 2021, the IBREI Strategic Planning Meeting for the year 2021 took place at the IBREI Headquarters. In 2021, we restructured our organizational framework to meet the growth of the Institute. With the dedication of our Board, we outlined a series of goals for 2021 and the following years, based on the planning carried out in 2018. Brazil in Focus
Due to the significant changes that occur daily in the national scenario, IBREI will launch a series of events titled Brazil in Focus . The series will focus on analyzing the main political developments and how they may impact various sectors in the national market. The first event in the series addressed the theme: The Elections of the New Presidents of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies . Preparations – USA
IBREI directors met with the President of the Business Internationalization Forum (FIE) and the President of the Oxford Group in the USA to define actions and events (to be held in 2021) aimed at promoting and facilitating Brazilian companies’ access to the American market.
