IBREI participates in a meeting of the BRICS Business Council
On May 21, 2021, IBREI participated in a meeting of the BRICS Business Council . The meeting addressed topics related to aligning the bloc with the Brazilian government. The session was opened by Jackson Schneider , President & CEO of Embraer Defesa e Segurança , discussing Brazil’s priorities for the upcoming meetings of foreign trade ministers. BRICS SDG Awards
Between June and August 2021, the BRICS SDG Awards will take place. This is an award by the BRICS Business Council for entrepreneurship projects focused on sustainable development initiatives. In each member country of the bloc, an institution will be responsible for organizing and executing the award. Horasis Global Meeting
The President of IBREI, Maurício Prazak, will chair a CEOs panel on Latin America at one of the world’s largest economic forums: the Horasis Global Meeting. Relations with Vietnam
On July 6, 2021, IBREI welcomed Mr. Ngo Xuan Ty, Head of the Trade Office of the Embassy of Vietnam in Brazil, at its headquarters. On the agenda is the signing of an MOU between IBREI and the Embassy to develop a series of initiatives aimed at strengthening business relations between the two countries.


Meeting with Quebec
On July 2, 2021, IBREI met with the Université du Québec and the Tribunal Administrativo do Trabalho de Quebec to discuss the organization of events and initiatives related to international conciliation, mediation, and arbitration. The agenda already includes plans for a major international event in 2022 involving France, Canada, and Brazil. More news will be posted soon.


Solutions for SDGs Awards
As organizer of the IBREI BRICS Solutions for SDGs Awards, the Institute now moves to the next stage of the process: the nomination of the jury panel that will evaluate the projects submitted by the five countries. The projects were submitted in seven categories, and the jurors will have until July 30 to evaluate them. More information will be posted soon.


Fambras Meeting
IBREI is beginning the signing of a partnership agreement with the Federação das Associações Muçulmanas do Brasil (FAMBRAS) and FAMBRAS HALAL (Halal certifier for Brazil). The agenda includes actions for instruction and training so that Brazilian companies can operate in the Arab market.
