IBREI Announces a New Advisory Council

The Brazilian Institute for the Development of International Business Relations (IBREI) announced, on January 12, 2026, the appointment of its new Advisory Council, marking an important step in the consolidation of its institutional governance and the strengthening of its national and international activities.
The renewal of the Council is part of the Institute’s continuous process of evolution, aligned with the contemporary challenges of global business relations, innovation, sustainability, and the promotion of Brazil’s business environment abroad.
Composition of the New Advisory Council
IBREI’s new Advisory Council is composed of professionals with recognized experience, leadership, and relevance in their respective sectors:
Pádua Teixeira – President of the Advisory Council and President of PKT
Walker Lahmann – CEO of Eurofarma
Gislaine Toth – CEO of Grupo BrasilH2 and President of MFN
Sandro Ari Pinto – Vice President of Pagos
Valéria Carrete – Vice President of Pagos
Luciana Orichi – CEO of Circular
Antonio Augusto Orcesi da Costa – Partner and Advisor at Caruso Lounge
Walter Machado de Barros – Fiscal Council Member of Sebrae Nacional
The diversity of experiences, sectors, and professional backgrounds among the new advisors reinforces IBREI’s commitment to a plural, strategic, and results-oriented approach.
Strategic Role of the Council
The Advisory Council plays a fundamental role in supporting the Executive Board, contributing strategic guidance, analyses, the sharing of best practices, and institutional advice, always in line with the Institute’s values and objectives.
In this new phase, the Council will have an even more integrated role in IBREI’s initiatives related to internationalization, investment attraction, business missions, sectoral events, and international cooperation projects.
