Signing of an Agreement Between IBREI and Correios



IBREI and Correios Host an Event on Business Opportunities in Uruguay and Oman



On December 12, IBREI (Brazilian Institute for the Development of International Business Relations) and Correios hosted the event “Expanding Frontiers: Business Opportunities in Uruguay and Oman” at the Correios auditorium in São Paulo.


With an audience composed of business owners, managers, and representatives from different sectors, the event addressed strategic topics related to business internationalization, highlighting the opportunities offered by Uruguay and the Sultanate of Oman. Speakers included Maurício Prazak, President of IBREI; Magdalena Rodríguez, from the Uruguay–Brazil Chamber of Commerce; Eduardo Pimenta, representative of the Sultanate of Oman; and Tatiane Lourenço Adamis, from Correios.


Signing of a Cooperation Agreement


One of the key highlights of the event was the signing of a cooperation agreement between IBREI and Correios, formalizing a partnership aimed at promoting and supporting the internationalization of Brazilian companies. The agreement was signed by Maurício Prazak, President of IBREI, and Renato, Superintendent of Correios. This partnership reinforces the commitment of both institutions to fostering foreign trade and opening new frontiers for Brazilian businesses.


Highlights of the Presentations


Maurício Prazak (IBREI): addressed the importance of exports as a strategy for sustainable growth for Brazilian companies.


Magdalena Rodríguez (Uruguay–Brazil Chamber of Commerce): presented Uruguay’s competitive advantages for foreign investors.


Eduardo Pimenta (Sultanate of Oman): discussed the country’s economic outlook through 2040 and priority areas for international partnerships.


Tatiane Lourenço Adamis (Correios): highlighted the logistics solutions offered by Correios to facilitate the internationalization of companies.


The event was held with the strategic support of partners such as Pluxee, the Sultanate of Oman, Invest Oman, and the Uruguay–Brazil Chamber of Commerce.


Next Steps


Following the success of the event, IBREI and Correios are planning new joint initiatives in 2025, with the aim of fostering international trade and strengthening business relations between Brazil and global markets.
