Developing tourism in Rio Grande do Sul (RS).

IBREI and Kallas Group contribute to the development of tourism in RS.


The Secretariat and the Bicentennial Commission of the Government of the State of Rio Grande do Sul met with IBREI and expressed their gratitude to the Institute and Kallas Group for their collaboration in promoting tourism in the State.


The meeting was attended by government representatives and was organized by Karen Schneider, President of the Thematic Tourism Nucleus of IBREI, the essential mediator responsible for this partnership. Also present at the meeting were:


Ricardo Bartz - President of ASSEMP and CDL of Santa Cruz do Sul


Luciano Menezes - President of the 39th Oktoberfest - 2024 management


Daniela Roehrs Laner - Vice President of the 39th Oktoberfest - 2024 management


Cristiana Verônica Mueller - Coordinator of the International Advisory Office at the University of Santa Cruz do Sul and member of the regional and state Bicentennial Commission


Rafael Koerig Gessinger - Undersecretary of Justice and Institutional Integrity and President of the Official Commission for the Bicentennial of German Immigration.


During the meeting, strategies to strengthen tourism in Rio Grande do Sul were discussed, with a focus on promoting major events such as the Oktoberfest and the celebrations of the bicentennial of German immigration. These initiatives are being promoted through LED panels in various airports across the country, thanks to the partnership with Kallas Group.


Kallas Group, founded by Luís Roberto Kallas, a member of the IBREI Business Council, has been instrumental in this promotional campaign, bringing the culture and events of Rio Grande do Sul to the entire country.


The president of Oktoberfest emphasized the importance of this cooperation for the economic and cultural development of the state.
