Students visit IBREI

On April 2, 2025, IBREI welcomed a group of 7th-semester Law students from Anhanguera University.

The visit was organized at the initiative of Professor Juliana Lelissa, with the goal of providing students with a broader perspective on the institute's activities and the career opportunities for legal professionals in the international arena.

The President of IBREI, Maurício Prazak, opened the meeting by sharing an overview of the institute's work, highlighting the role of corporate diplomacy and the diverse opportunities for lawyers in the global market.

He emphasized how legal practice can intersect with international negotiations, global governance, and the development of business relationships.

Next, IBREI's Director of Government Relations, Rafael Bernardi, discussed the importance and activities of Government Relations (GovRel) professionals.

He explained how the interaction between companies, governments, and institutions can influence international business and public policy development.

IBREI’s Counselor and Co-Founder, Lino Fernandes, added to the discussion by speaking about the work of corporate lawyers, particularly those dealing with international matters.

He highlighted the challenges and opportunities of business law in a globalized world.

Practical experience was also a key focus of the visit.

Presidential Advisor Matheus Bastos, along with presidential interns Rúbia Costa and Rafael Gomes, shared their experiences at the institute and stressed the importance of engaging in hands-on activities during undergraduate studies.

They also introduced the IBREI Student Commission, an initiative they founded and organized to promote knowledge and opportunities in the international field.

The visit was an excellent opportunity for students to explore, in practice, the diverse possibilities that the international market offers to legal professionals.

IBREI remains open to supporting the academic and professional development of new generations.
