"Slovenia is located in Central Europe. Despite its small population (2 million inhabitants), it has a very important geographical and strategic position. Since 2004 it has been part of the European Community, and in 2007 it adopted the Euro. It can serve as a gateway to the European market, and also has good relations with the countries of the former Yugoslavia and Eastern Europe." -
