BRICS Infrastructure Meeting
On April 6, 2023, the first meeting of the year of the BRICS Business Council Infrastructure Working Group was held. As a member of the Council and of the Working Group, IBREI participated in the meeting, which brought together the Chairs and members from each of the five member countries. Under South Africa’s presidency this year, the Council’s activities have already demonstrated significant progress and productive outcomes.


IBREI Meets with the OAB’s International Relations Committee
On April 10, 2023, IBREI met with Luiz Carlos Szymonowicz, President of the International Relations Committee of OAB-SP. Luiz Carlos also serves as President of the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce and as Honorary Consul of Suriname. During the meeting, the foundations were laid for closer institutional cooperation between IBREI and the OAB-SP Committee, with the aim of developing joint initiatives. Meeting with the Mercosur Chamber
On April 12, 2023, the Mercosur and Americas Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited the headquarters of IBREI – Brazilian Institute for the Development of Business and Institutional Relations.
