IBREI met with the Consul of Mexico to discuss joint initiatives aimed at promoting business meetings between Mexican and Brazilian entrepreneurs, further strengthening business relations between Brazil and Mexico.

As one of the official members of the Brazil Chapter of the BRICS Business Council, IBREI participated in the Council’s Annual Meeting held on June 8, 2022. With delegations from each of the five member countries (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) in attendance, reports were presented on the results of each of the Council’s Working Groups, with the objective of drafting the common Recommendations that will be submitted to government leaders.

On 07/04/22, IBREI President Maurício Prazak and CEO Lino Fernandes visited the headquarters of TV Cultura, where they were received by executive Ana Karin and the Director of Network and New Business, Fábio Chateaubriant Borba. On 07/07/22, IBREI participated in a reception at the Consulate General of Uruguay in São Paulo for a delegation of Uruguayan business leaders. On 07/26/22, IBREI President Maurício Prazak and CEO Lino Fernandes met with Uruguay’s Minister of Livestock, Fernando Mattos Costa, and Commercial Consul Facundo Fernandes. The meeting focused on discussing opportunities and challenges in the sector between the two countries, as well as perspectives for the global market.
