After years of a deep and productive relationship with Consul General Mohamed Elkhatib, who left the country at the end of 2019, IBREI held a meeting with the new Consul, Noha Syam. The meeting was extremely productive and established the next steps for the continuation of IBREI’s work with the consulate in order to strengthen the commercial and business relationship between Brazil and Egypt.

Starting in September, IBREI has been meeting with the organizations FCEM, OBME, and OAME to carry out a series of actions aimed at boosting the international business environment for women entrepreneurs. Events and a major business roundtable using IBREI’s new platform (see more about the platform here) are already being prepared. More news will be announced on the website soon.

IBREI participates in debates among the candidates for Mayor of the city of São Paulo. The debates were organized by the Brazilian Association of Institutional and Government Relations – ABRIG, coordinated by its Regional Director in São Paulo, Rafael Bernardi, who is also Director of Government Relations at IBREI. The program will feature interviews with eight of the main candidates.
