On 03/28/23, IBREI received at its Headquarters Consul Haikal Hanib, Head of MATRADE - Embassy of Malaysia Trade Office (the government’s Investment Agency), as well as Kossi Telou, Commercial and Economic Promotion Executive of the Embassy of Malaysia in São Paulo. On February 15, 2023, IBREI, together with the PAGOS Association, held an event to discuss business opportunities in Uruguay for companies in the payment services sector. The event featured Alejandro Arechevaleta and Martín Soca as speakers, both partners at the law firm Arechevaleta Pombo, IBREI’s official representative in Uruguay. On March 21 and 22, IBREI participated in the ExpoPeru Brasil event. The event was organized by the Government of Peru (through Promperu and ProInversión) and co-organized by IBREI. On March 27, IBREI was received by Consul General Stela Santiago at the headquarters of the Consulate General of Angola in São Paulo. Representing IBREI at the meeting were President Maurício Prazak and the Superintendent for Africa, Sérgio Rosset (Honorary Consul of Botswana).

IBREI’s International Vice President, Arthur Martinho, was received at the Embassy of Malaysia by Consul Haikal Hanib, Head of MATRADE – the Malaysian Trade Office (the government’s investment promotion agency) – as well as Kossi Telou, Trade and Economic Promotion Executive at the Embassy of Malaysia in São Paulo.

From February 28 to March 3, IBREI participated in INTERMODAL, the largest transport and logistics trade fair in Latin America. IBREI was granted an exhibition booth at the event, in addition to taking part in lectures and networking activities. See below the photos from the event.

On March 7, IBREI President Maurício Prazak was received by Gustavo Sperandio and Silvio Torres at the headquarters of Apex in São Paulo. On March 3, IBREI representatives visited the headquarters of JBS in São Paulo. The purpose of the visit was to discuss beef export opportunities to Vietnam. At IBREI’s invitation, Mr. Ngo Xuan Ty, Commercial Officer of the Embassy of Vietnam in Brazil, also attended the meeting. The delegation was received by JBS’s Export Director, Marcelo Sigman.
