Associação a CIT


We are honored to announce that IBREI has become a member of the International Chamber of Transport Industry (CIT).


The International Chamber of Transport Industry (CIT), founded on May 25, 2002, at the initiative of the National Transport Confederation (CNT), is a private, non-profit civil association with an international structure and scope. Its primary objective is to defend and safeguard the interests of transport operators and their representative entities, act institutionally before private and public bodies, promote studies for the development and improvement of cargo and passenger transport techniques, and conduct research on economic, market, and legal issues related to the transport sector.


The members, referred to as “CIT Chapters,” are the following countries: Argentina Chapter, Bolivia Chapter, Brazil Chapter, Chile Chapter, Colombia Chapter, Costa Rica Chapter, Ecuador Chapter, El Salvador Chapter, USA Chapter (Puerto Rico), Guatemala Chapter, Honduras Chapter, Mexico Chapter, Nicaragua Chapter, Panama Chapter, Paraguay Chapter, Peru Chapter, Dominican Republic Chapter, Uruguay Chapter, and Venezuela Chapter.


ASSOCIATE MEMBERS, such as IBREI, have the right to participate in CIT assemblies with the right to speak (voice). Examples include universities, institutes, training schools, military academies, industries and/or companies in technology, applications, aerospace, aeronautics, road, railway, waterway, and pipeline equipment, shipyards, ports, airports, clusters, cooperatives, among others.
