In 2020, IBREI became a part of the working groups of another international organization: the OECD – Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development – https://www.oecd.org/
.
The OECD is an international organization that works to build better policies for better lives. With nearly 60 years of existence, the Organization brings together 37 countries and aims to shape policies that promote prosperity, equality, opportunity, and well-being for all. It addresses economic, financial, trade, social, and environmental issues. Its meetings and debates allow for the exchange of experiences and coordination of policies in various areas of government action.
On August 12, IBREI participated in the high-level meeting "Global Dialogue with the B20."
The B20 is an annual forum that brings together the top business leaders from all the involved countries.
The meeting was attended by B20 leaders, as well as government officials, sherpas, and ministers from the G20 (Group of 20 – a group formed by finance ministers and central bank governors from the 19 largest economies in the world, plus the European Union) – https://g20.org/en/Pages/home.aspx
.
The discussion focused on assessing the global economic outlook, as well as presenting the recommendations and next steps from each Task Force of the B20 group.
