World on the Agenda– Entrepreneurship in ESG: Financing, Tips, and Challenges

On February 20, the Brazilian Institute of International Business Relations (IBREI) hosted another edition of Mundo em Pauta, presenting a topic of unquestionable relevance: “Entrepreneurship in ESG: Financing, Tips, and Challenges.”

The event featured the distinguished presence of Brazilian entrepreneur Felipe Burman, CEO and Founder of GLR Tech. Burman shared his expertise and insights on the intersection of entrepreneurship and environmental responsibility, highlighting the nuances of his remarkable journey.

In addition to leading GLR Tech, Felipe Burman stood out by launching his first company at the age of 21 and guiding it through its exit process. His academic background includes studies in Strategic Alliances at the University of Liverpool, a Master’s in Environmental Sciences at Tel Aviv University, and elective courses in the Kellogg/Recanati MBA. As an enthusiast of sustainability and positive impact, Burman also plays a key role at IBREI, serving as President of the Thematic Core for Impact and Sustainability (ESG Committee) and Vice President of the Innovation and Startups Commission.

The event provided a deep insight into the complexities of entrepreneurship in an ESG context, highlighting the growing importance of initiatives that integrate environmental, social, and governance practices.

Once again, IBREI fulfills its commitment to bringing relevant discussions to the forefront and connecting professionals in an environment conducive to learning and networking. Mundo em Pauta is an initiative designed to keep the business community informed and engaged, promoting knowledge and collaboration. Stay tuned for upcoming events!
