Wall Street Green Summit


Created in 2002 by Peter Fusaro, the Wall Street Green Summit is an international event that brings together experts from around the world to discuss sustainable finance.

The forum already has a network of more than 6,000 industry professionals and is now, for the first time, launching a chapter outside the United States.


The Brazil Chapter of WSGS took place on March 10, 2021, and featured leading experts from the sector.

In the first panel, moderated by IBREI President Maurício Prazak, the following speakers participated:


Peter Fusaro– Founder of WSGS, international best-selling author, and founder of Global Change Associates.


Mariama Vendramini– Head of the Ecosecurities office in Brazil.


Alexei Bonamin– Lawyer and professor in the areas of Capital Markets, Private Equity & Venture Capital, and Investment Funds; Vice President of the IBA Capital Markets Forum and Chair of the IBA Presidential Task Force on Impact Investing.


Alexandre Garotti– ESG Analyst at Itaú Asset.


In the second panel, moderated by Fabio de Lucena, member of the IBRI ESG Committee, the following speakers participated:


Aron Belinky– Partner at ABC Associados.


Madhu Mathew– Director of Technology, Sustainability at SASB (Sustainability Accounting Standards Board).


Andrea Santoro– Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator at AES Brasil.
