Visit of the Consul General of Peru to IBREI Strengthens Economic Ties Between the Two Countries

On October 3, 2023, the Consul General of Peru, Minister Luis Armando Monteagudo Pacheco, together with Deputy Consul Coral del Cielo Cano Gallardo de Shimada, Head of Economic Affairs, visited the Brazilian Institute for the Development of International Business Relations (IBREI).
The visit marked a significant step in strengthening relations between IBREI and the Consulate General.
The Peruvian delegation was warmly received by IBREI President Maurício Prazak, CEO Lino Fernandes, and IBREI’s Superintendent for the Americas, Fábio Frederico.
The meeting provided a constructive environment for the exchange of ideas and initiatives aimed at strengthening trade ties between the two countries.
During the visit, several topics of mutual interest were discussed, ranging from bilateral investments to collaboration in strategic sectors such as technology, infrastructure, and energy.
The presence of the Consul General of Peru and the Deputy Consul for Economic Affairs highlights the mutual commitment to fostering a favorable environment for economic growth and cooperation between the two nations.
Maurício Prazak, President of IBREI, emphasized the importance of the Consulate General’s work as a concrete step toward strengthening trade relations between Peru and Brazil. He expressed optimism regarding the potential for collaboration and underscored the need to explore joint opportunities to advance the economic development of both countries.
IBREI’s CEO, Lino Fernandes, highlighted the crucial role of the private sector in promoting international trade and building solid partnerships.
