SLOBRAZ Hosts IBREI Lecture on Brazil–Slovenia Relations

On May 25, 2023, SLOBRAZ hosted an event featuring the participation of the Brazilian Institute for the Development of International Business Relations (IBREI).
The event was led by SLOBRAZ Manager Mateja Ciuchini.
It was attended by IBREI President Maurício Prazak; IBREI’s Institutional Ambassador to Slovenia, Andrej Vasle; and Madeleine Blankenstein, Director of the Institute’s ESG Committee.
The focus of the meeting was to discuss IBREI’s international activities and the bilateral relations between Brazil and Slovenia.
Maurício Prazak emphasized the importance of strengthening economic and trade ties between Brazil and Slovenia. He highlighted opportunities for cooperation in strategic sectors such as technology, energy, agribusiness, and infrastructure, underscoring the complementary nature of the two countries’ economies.
IBREI’s Institutional Ambassador to Slovenia, Andrej Vasle, shared his perspective on business prospects between Brazil and Slovenia. Vasle stressed the need to strengthen communication channels and promote partnerships between Brazilian and Slovenian companies, fostering the exchange of knowledge, technology, and investment. He also pointed to the strong potential for collaboration in innovation and entrepreneurship.
Madeleine Blankenstein, Director of IBREI’s ESG Committee, contributed a special perspective by addressing the importance of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria in building strong and sustainable international partnerships. She highlighted the need for a responsible approach aligned with the ESG agenda in Brazil–Slovenia relations, promoting balanced and conscious economic development.
During the event, participants had the opportunity to exchange experiences and knowledge, as well as establish contacts for future collaborations. The lecture also provided a favorable environment for networking among representatives of the companies and organizations in attendance.
