IBREI Participates in the PAGOS Monthly Meeting

On June 29, 2023, the Brazilian Institute for the Development of International Business Relations (IBREI) had the pleasure of participating in the monthly meeting of PAGOS, the Brazilian Association of Payment Companies. The event, held in São Paulo, provided a valuable opportunity for knowledge exchange and networking among industry leaders.
PAGOS is recognized as one of the leading organizations representing companies in Brazil’s payment sector, serving as an important forum for sharing information and ideas.
During the meeting, participants discussed industry trends, challenges, and opportunities, strengthening collaboration among companies and fostering the advancement of the sector as a whole.
One of the main topics on the agenda was the presentation of a proposed business mission, jointly prepared by IBREI and PAGOS. The mission aims to bring payment industry executives to participate in the renowned Web Summit, to be held in Lisbon from June 12 to 18, 2023. Web Summit is one of the world’s largest events focused on technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation, bringing together global leaders, investors, and promising startups.
In addition to the discussions regarding the business mission, the event featured a special lecture by Rodrigo Padron, CEO of Brain. He shared valuable insights on applying the “hero’s journey” concept to the daily lives of entrepreneurs. He emphasized the importance of overcoming challenges, developing skills, and facing obstacles as integral parts of business growth and success.
IBREI’s participation in PAGOS’ monthly meeting strengthened ties between the institutions and created a favorable environment for collaboration and knowledge sharing. The exchange of ideas among the entrepreneurs present enriched discussions and opened new business opportunities.
