IBREI Participates in Reception for Paraguay’s President-Elect, Santiago Peña

On July 26 and 27, 2023, the Brazilian Institute for the Development of International Business Relations (IBREI) attended the reception events held in São Paulo in honor of Paraguay’s President-elect, Santiago Peña.

On July 26, the President-elect delivered a lecture at the renowned Fundação Getulio Vargas, where he addressed key issues related to trade relations between Brazil and Paraguay.

The following day, the agenda continued with a meeting at the headquarters of the São Paulo Commercial Association, followed by a luncheon.

Representing IBREI on these occasions were:

Maurício Prazak, President of the Institute;

Lilian Schiavo, Board Member;

Fábio Frederico, IBREI’s Regional Superintendent for the Americas; and

Franchesco Lopes, IBREI’s Institutional Ambassador to Bolivia.

President-elect Santiago Peña was accompanied by a delegation of government officials, including the newly appointed ministers who will serve in his administration.

IBREI’s participation in these events underscores the importance of international business relations between Brazil and Paraguay, opening new opportunities for economic cooperation and mutual investment.

On September 15, the IBREI team will attend the inauguration ceremony of the new President in Asunción.
