IBREI Attends the Celebration of Uruguay’s Independence in São Paulo



On August 25, the Brazilian Institute for International Business Relations (IBREI) took part in the celebration of Uruguay’s Independence, held at the Museu da Casa Brasileira in São Paulo.


The event, organized by the Consulate General of Uruguay, brought together prominent figures, diplomats, and business leaders to commemorate this significant national date.


IBREI’s President, Maurício Prazak, was part of the Institute’s delegation, which also included IBREI’s representative in Uruguay, Alejandro Arechevalleta; the Superintendent for the Americas, Fábio Frederico; Board Member Lilian Schiavo; and IBREI’s Ambassador to France, Milena Wydra.


One of the highlights of the celebration was the presence and active participation of the Consul General of Uruguay in São Paulo, Marta Echart.


In addition to IBREI’s delegation, more than 15 consuls general attended the event, underscoring its importance within the diplomatic community. Representatives of the Brazilian government and members of the business sector were also present, strengthening bilateral ties and opening doors for future commercial collaborations.


The celebration provided a favorable environment for the exchange of experiences, networking, and the strengthening of trade relations between Brazil and Uruguay.
