IBREI at the Shanghai Promotion Meeting



The Brazilian Institute of International Business Relations (IBREI) made its mark at the Shanghai Promotion Meeting held in São Paulo on November 16. The president, Maurício Prazak, CEO Lino Fernandes, presidential advisor Rúbia Machado, International Director Akemi Soy Cho, and IBREI Ambassador to China, Daniel Lau, represented the institution in this exclusive seminar that brought together entrepreneurs and government officials from the Chinese city. The event provided a unique opportunity to explore connections and investment and partnership opportunities between Shanghai and Brazil, highlighting the city's potential as a major financial and business hub in Asia and the world.


Organized by the China Trade Center, an institutional partner of IBREI, the event featured renowned speakers such as the Vice-Governor of the State of São Paulo, Mr. Felicio Ramuth (to be confirmed), the Consul General of China in São Paulo, Mr. Yu Peng, the President of InvestSP, Mr. Rui Gomes Junior, the Vice-Mayor of the Municipal Government of Shanghai, Mr. Hua Yuan, the Director of External Relations at Vale, Mr. Gustavo Biscassi, and the President of the Bank of China in Brazil, Mr. Zhang Guanghua.


The program included significant moments such as the presentation of Shanghai, videos about the city, speeches from important representatives, and the signing ceremony of agreements, providing an enriching experience for participants. The event concluded with a coffee break and networking, strengthening ties between participants and highlighting business opportunities between Shanghai and Brazil.
