On July 3, 2025, parallel to the BRICS Summit held in Rio de Janeiro, IBREI actively participated in the Russia-Brazil Business Meeting promoted by the Brazil-Russia Business Council. The event took place at FIRJAN House, bringing together strategic representatives from productive sectors of both countries in a private, high-level setting.

As part of its institutional mission to foster international business relations, IBREI facilitated the participation of two directors from Maxfol Agroindustrial, one of Brazil's largest chemical importers: Tiago Mariano and Fábio Claro Figueira de Melo, the company's Director of Imports.

Maxfol had the opportunity to engage with Russian companies across various sectors, particularly in chemical inputs and fertilizers—a key industry where the Brazilian firm has strong operations and growing interest in expanding international connections.

This exclusive meeting aimed to strengthen bilateral economic diplomacy and promote direct business deals, cross-border investments, and technological cooperation between both nations. The agenda featured thematic panels and targeted business matchmaking sessions, creating an ideal environment for developing concrete commercial partnerships.

"Maxfol’s presence in this top-tier business forum, enabled with IBREI’s support, is a clear example of how our institution’s work translates into real opportunities for Brazilian companies on the international scene."

— IBREI Team

The initiative reinforces IBREI’s role as a strategic bridge between Brazil’s productive sector and major multilateral business forums, offering institutional support, opportunity curation, and active participation in agendas shaping the future of Brazil’s global economic relations.
