Brazilian Agribusiness Forum


With institutional support from IBREI, the event highlighted how agribusiness and the environment serve as driving forces for Brazil’s development.

The event took place on April 19, was completely free, and featured prominent figures from both the private sector and public authorities. It covered diverse topics, focusing on the most urgent and current issues facing the country.

Key topics included environmental challenges, investment opportunities, the importance of technological advancement for sector companies, current risk scenarios, fintech and automation, challenges to international competitiveness, water, clean energy, and environmental issues in Brazil and globally, as well as harvests and foreign trade.

The event chairman, Joao Roberto Benites, emphasized that “the sector played a fundamental role in sustaining the economy in 2020, and the growth trend continues into 2021 with new investments and technologies. Addressing this topic now provides an opportunity for leaders and managers to evaluate their investments and proactively contribute to the country’s development.”
