IBREI and Expo Africa Strengthen Institutional Ties in Strategic Meeting

On Tuesday, June 11, representatives from the Brazilian Institute for the Development of International Business Relations (IBREI) met with João Canda, Executive Director of Expo Africa, to discuss opportunities for bilateral cooperation between the two organizations.
Expo Africa Brazil is the largest event in Latin America focused on promoting the commercial and cultural aspects of African countries. The event aims to showcase the cultural diversity and entrepreneurial spirit of Africa, as well as attract investors and strengthen trade relations with Brazil.
The meeting was led by Fabio Frederico, IBREI's Superintendent for the Americas, who organized the gathering and emphasized the importance of collaboration between the two entities. Among those present were IBREI President Mauricio Prazak; Vice President of International Relations, Arthur Martinho; Advisory Council Member, Lino Fernandes; IBREI advisor Rúbia Machado; and Matheus Bastos, assistant to the President.
During the meeting, the potential markets of Brazil and Africa were discussed, along with strategies for bilateral cooperation between IBREI and Expo Africa. Mauricio Prazak highlighted the importance of strengthening commercial and cultural ties, leveraging the opportunities that Expo Africa offers to attract domestic and foreign investors to African countries and enhance trade relations with Brazil.
João Canda, Executive Director of Expo Africa, emphasized the crucial role of the event as a platform to showcase the cultural diversity and economic potential of African countries to the world. He noted that the initiative to organize the first Expo Africa Brazil will not only promote culture and tourism but also serve as a springboard for attracting investments and fostering bilateral business opportunities.

The meeting reinforced IBREI's commitment to promoting the development of international business relations and creating new opportunities for cooperation between Brazil and African countries. Both sides agreed to continue working together to ensure the success of Expo Africa and further strengthen the commercial and cultural ties between the two regions.
