Launch of the Uruguay–Brazil Chamber of Commerce (CCUB) in Montevideo Marks a New Chapter in Bilateral Relations

On October 29, 2025, the Uruguay–Brazil Chamber of Commerce (CCUB) was officially launched in Montevideo. The entity was created with the aim of strengthening economic, institutional, and business ties between the two countries.
CCUB was represented by its President, Alejandro Arechavaleta, its Vice President, Maurício Prazak, its Secretary-General, Magdalena Rodríguez Luis, and Director Junior Alexandre Moreira Pinto.
The event brought together several authorities from the Brazilian and Uruguayan governments, as well as representatives of companies from both countries, who celebrated the creation of a new platform for cooperation and commercial opportunities.
The new Uruguay–Brazil Chamber of Commerce, headquartered in both countries, will work to promote bilateral business, support investments, and foster institutional engagement between the public and private sectors, contributing to the strengthening of economic integration between Brazil and Uruguay
