Historic Launch of Uruguay-Brazil Chamber of Commerce (CCUB) Strengthens Bilateral Ties


On the evening of May 28th, the rooftop of IBREI's headquarters in São Paulo hosted a historic moment for Brazil-Uruguay integration: the official launch of the Uruguay-Brazil Chamber of Commerce (CCUB).


The event brought together government officials, business leaders, and institutional representatives to celebrate a new chapter in commercial cooperation between the two nations.


Master of ceremonies Maurício Prazak guided the proceedings, which featured opening remarks from CCUB's founding members:

• Alejandro Arechavaleta - CCUB President

• Maurício Prazak - Vice President

• Marta Echarte Baraibar - Vice President

• Magdalena Rodríguez Luis - Secretary Director


Prominent authorities also addressed attendees, reaffirming institutional and governmental support for the new Chamber:

CCUB represents a joint initiative by its founding members: IBREI, FIUS, Arechavaleta Advogados, Zonamerica, Eurofarma and NETcAN, established to strengthen commercial connections, promote investment opportunities, and enhance bilateral cooperation between both countries.


The evening concluded with a networking cocktail reception, toasting the beginning of this new era of Brazil-Uruguay integration.
