IBREI Welcomes President of Indonesia

IBREI Hosts President of Indonesia at a Side Event to the G20 in Rio de Janeiro

On November 17, 2024, IBREI had the honor of co-organizing the “Indonesia-Brazil Business Forum 2024,” held at the iconic Copacabana Palace in Rio de Janeiro.

The event, which ran parallel to the G20 Leaders' Summit, featured the distinguished presence of the President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, accompanied by a high-level delegation from the Indonesian government.

Organized by IBREI in collaboration with the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) and in partnership with the global group RGE, present in Brazil through companies such as BRACELL and APICAL, the forum aimed to strengthen trade relations and explore new opportunities for cooperation between Brazil and Indonesia.

Event Agenda

Business Forum: Held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the forum brought together entrepreneurs, investors, and authorities from both countries to discuss potential partnerships in strategic sectors such as agribusiness, renewable energy, technology, and infrastructure.
Gala Dinner with President Prabowo Subianto: Closing the evening in grand style, the dinner, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, provided an exclusive setting for networking and the consolidation of diplomatic and business ties.

IBREI was represented by its President, Maurício Prazak, and its Director, Gilberto Bueno, reaffirming its role as a strategic bridge for the development of international business relations.

The Indonesia-Brazil Business Forum 2024 underscored the potential of partnerships between the two nations, reinforcing IBREI’s commitment to promoting dialogue and global cooperation.
