IBREI Holds a Day of Institutional Visits in Brasília


On October 1, 2025, the Brazilian Institute of Business Relations (IBREI) carried out a series of institutional visits in Brasília, strengthening dialogue with embassies and strategic entities. The agenda was attended by IBREI President Maurício Prazak, Director Gilberto Bueno, and Eletrolar Group Director Roberta Zogbi.


The day began with a visit to the new Ambassador of India to Brazil, Mr. Dinesh Bhatia, who welcomed the delegation to discuss opportunities for economic and institutional cooperation


Subsequently, the group was received by the new Ambassador of Uruguay to Brazil, Mr. Rodolfo Nin Novoa, at the Embassy of Uruguay, in a meeting marked by the strengthening of bilateral relations and the exchange of perspectives on trade and investments. The visit also reaffirmed the government’s support for the newly established Uruguay–Brazil Chamber of Commerce.


During lunch, the delegation had the honor of being welcomed at the residence of the Ambassador of Cuba to Brazil, Mr. Adolfo Curbelo, in a moment of dialogue on regional integration initiatives and business partnerships, as well as the opportunity to enjoy traditional Cuban cuisine.


In the afternoon, the agenda continued with a reception at the Embassy of Kazakhstan, where Ambassador Bolat Nussupov highlighted the potential for cooperation with Brazil across different strategic sectors.


The delegation was also received at the Embassy of Saudi Arabia by Vice Ambassador Mr. Abdullah Al-Anazi, accompanied by the Chargé d’Affaires for Economic Affairs Mr. Meshal Alshalan and the Head of Government Relations Mr. Hamad Alessa. The meeting addressed partnership opportunities in trade and investment sectors, as well as the hosting of the Eletrolar Show in Riyadh starting in 2027.


Concluding the agenda, IBREI representatives met with the President of the Council of Presidents of Sebrae Nacional, Mr. Ivan Hussni, to discuss projects aimed at micro and small enterprises (MEs and EPPs), as well as the next edition of Eletrolar Show 2026, the largest consumer electronics and home appliances trade fair in Latin America.


Through this intensive day of meetings, IBREI reaffirms its mission to promote institutional and business relations between Brazil and international partners, creating new opportunities for business and cooperation.
