IBREI Concludes the First Cycle of the Student Committee with a Lecture on Global Trade in the Trump Era

The Brazilian Institute of International Relations (IBREI) held, on Tuesday (November 28), the event that marked the conclusion of the first cycle of its Student Committee. The activity featured Fábio Lima Freire, a specialist in Foreign Trade (COMEX), as the guest speaker..


In a lecture entitled “Global Trade in the Trump Era: Tariffs, Perspectives, and Possibilities,” Fábio Freire explored the essential mechanisms and practices for professionals working in foreign trade and market intelligence. He presented extensive historical knowledge on the foundations that shaped the current international system, demonstrating remarkable expertise on the subject.


During his presentation, the speaker discussed how new global dynamics impact international trade. Going beyond theory, the lecture was enriched by personal experiences that illustrated how professionals should act in times of crisis and highlighted the importance of resilience in overcoming challenges. The event reinvigorated students’ interest in the field and opened new perspectives for professional engagement in the market.
