Humanitarian Aid to Lebanon

With the aim of assisting the victims of the tragic explosion that occurred on August 4, 2020, in Lebanon, MACOM, with the support of IBREI and the Lebanese-Brazilian Medical Association, organized a solidarity action to donate post-surgical materials. A total of 340 compression garments were donated for the treatment and recovery of burn victims and those with injuries.

With the heartfelt wish for a speedy recovery for all those affected by the unfortunate incident, we thank the Consul General Rudy El Azzi and the President of the Lebanese-Brazilian Medical Association (AMLB), Robert Nemer, for their support and prompt action, as well as our associate Renata von Zuben, owner of the company MACROM, for her selflessness and dedication, who spared no effort in making this noble act possible.

The plane carrying the shipments was received on Lebanese soil by former President Michel Temer, head of the Brazilian Humanitarian Mission in Lebanon.
