Global Halal Brazil Business Forum

IBREI participated, on December 6, 2021, in the Global Halal Brazil Business Forum, organized by FAMBRAS Halal and the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce.

The Global Halal Brazil – Business Forum was the first and largest halal forum in Brazil. Organized by the Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and FAMBRAS Halal, the event brought together 3,000 participants both in person and virtually, broadcast to 57 countries from the Renaissance São Paulo Hotel. It gathered global experts and authorities to discuss the halal sector.

The first edition of the GHB Forum presented opportunities in the halal sector for Brazilian companies to explore this market, valued at US$ 5 trillion.

GHB participants also had the opportunity to learn more about the concept and lifestyle of the Islamic population. Known for their high standards of excellence and added value, halal products and services cover a wide range of sectors, including food and beverages, finance, tourism, fashion, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals, serving approximately 1.9 billion consumers—24.5% of the global population—across Arab nations, Europe, and countries such as Indonesia, India, and Malaysia.
