Event on the ITCMD Reform

On September 2, an event was held to discuss the proposed reforms of the ITCMD (Tax on Inheritance and Donations) in the State of São Paulo.

Moderated by the President of IBREI, Maurício Prazak, the event featured the following speakers:

• Felipe Cervone, Vice President of the IBREI Financial Market Commission and partner at the law firm FIUS Advogados

• Bruno Santo, member of the IBREI Tax Law Commission and also a partner at the law firm FIUS Advogados

The speakers provided a broad overview of the impacts that the reforms will bring to the lives of companies and entrepreneurs, offering several tips and guidelines on how to prepare for the possible impacts. They addressed issues such as wealth and succession planning, the establishment of holding companies, and various other topics in a simple and didactic manner.
