In 2018, we will hold general elections for President of the Republic, governors, senators, federal deputies and state deputies. In the role of a think tank, IBREI will be present to its members and the national and international business community, reflecting the candidates' proposals seeking to influence business decisions and strategic plans for Brazil on the international stage. This action directly affects the interests of companies, shareholders and their stakeholders throughout 2018, with consequences for the next four years of the term of office of those elected. One of IBREI's missions is to promote the increase, development and structuring of business relations between companies and entities, public and private in Brazil and other countries, as well as collaborating with the Public Power in improving the internal legal order and related legal-administrative practices. internal and international business relations. In this sense, throughout 2018, IBREI will program a series of events to learn about, debate and give opinions on the political programs of candidates for the position of President of the Republic and for federal and state legislative positions. To carry out these events, the “Working Group - General Election 2018” was created, consisting of the President (Mauricio Prazak), the Vice-President (Ana Paula Castro), the Director of International Development (Arthur Martinho) and two Advisory Councilors ( Walter Machado de Barros and Milton Milioni), with the aim of organizing the necessary actions to promote meetings, conferences, meetings, forums, debates, involving candidates for elected positions and representatives of political parties with the national and international business community , and with civil society. The events will preferably be held in the city of São Paulo, IBREI's headquarters, and in large urban centers, capitals and municipalities, which meet the Institute's geoeconomic and political interests. Those invited by IBREI to the events will be: (a) candidates for elected positions; (b) opinion makers, political or non-political; (c) representatives of civil entities dedicated to training political leaders; (d) highly renowned journalists and political analysts; (e) representatives of traditional political parties and emerging parties and movements
